UK Christian Links

UK Christian Links is an expanding directory of links and information to lively Christian web pages in the UK. It is a free service. This site is designed and run by Christians who want to see useful Christian resources made more accessable on the web through simple design and implementation - that's why there are few flashy animations and extras on this site. The idea of this site is to present useful, focussed information a clear and simple way as either a gateway to the 'UK Christian Web' or to find a specific Christian web site. Please let us know if you have any ideas as to how we can better achieve this aim. Since its humble beginnings several years ago, this web site has grown - and continues to grow.

For the user, looking for information on the web, you can search links on this site to explore the internet. It is intended as a starting point when looking for christian web pages based many of which are focussed in the UK. Use the search facilities to find anything from christian music, churches from England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, other UK Christian directories and other Christian search engines to name but a few!

For the webmaster, You can submit your site to the directory for free. You'll need to join for FREE membership before submitting a site for inclusion in our directory because this gives you the ability to add, edit, comment and update any links you add to our directory yourself at any time. This in turn helps to keep the directory current.

There is a 'quick search' box in the blue bar at the top left of every page in UK Christian Links so you can search for links in the directory quickly and easily, or there is a category selection menu on the right of the blue bar where you can simply select one of the categories and click 'go' to view all the links in that category.

The hope is that the directory will continue to change and build into a useful library of links to UK Christain resources on the web - its worth bookmarking this site, as the links are continually being added to.

When you submit keywords for the search engine to find, you'll get loads of information - but not always as focussed as you might like. It can take ages to trawl through the hundreds, thousands or even millions of possible matches and you risk missing something important. You can use advanced search facilities on many of the search engines to narrow down your search somewhat. Some search engines also provide directories based on areas of general interest or that are the most popular. We have provided a search engine facility here on Christian links in case you cannot find what you are looking for in our directory. The chances are you found this directory by doing a general search through a search engine - but you may also have found us via a link from another web site.

A directory on the other hand is much more focussed already - a collection of URLs which have been grouped according to their subject matter. We have focussed on grouping a very specific subject - UK Christian Links to UK web sites. This means that some of the hard work is already done for you to narrow your search possibly making it easier to locate the web site you are looking for, or simply provide a lot of links in one place as a starting point for you to find out information in relation to UK Christian web sites. However, in addition, we do on occasion accept international websites especially where the content would be of help to someone looking for Christian information.

UK Christian Links welcomes submissions from UK Christian web sites that are in general agreement with our statement of faith. Please note that we do not add submissions to the database if there's no web address submitted or if there is very little or no Christian content. Businesses ideally need to make clear that they are Christian related within the link details to avoid link rejection - especially if there is little or no Christian content on the site.

Note that sites submitted are not guaranteed to stay in UK Christian Web Links, and inappropriate sites will be removed without notice.

If you discover a link that no longer works, contact us. and let us know, this helps to keep the directory up-to-date.

• Please ensure that the content of your site is in general agreement with the UK Christian Links basic statement of faith


• In all cases you should either be the webmaster or an administrator / moderator / editor of the website you are submitting. Please do not submit a link if you are not closely connected with the web site being submitted. This reduces duplicate links and stops confusion with the true owner/editor of the site.


• If you haven't already done so, you'll need to become a member of UK Christian Links to add links and gain access to a host of other features. The reasons for doing this are noted here. Membership is free. Adding and editing your links in the directory is free.


• For the business section, please only make a submission if you have Christian products etc. or the site is run by Christians - one or both of these should be very obvious to us when we visit your website - otherwise unfortunately the submission may be rejected!
